  • Closing a trade during weekend on eToro

Hi everyone, rather new to this, some misunderstandings I have around closing trades and fees if someone can explain please, I've made a request to close a certain trade during weekend (when market's closed) to be executed when market reopens, and when that happens suddenly I'm down 3.44% on my profits on that particular trade, is there some fees I'm missing on here, because this seems too high to me(?)

    hello, you should close the operations when market is open, or when market is beging to close, if you close an operation for example in weekend when that is closed then in monday the price can vary depending in a lot of factors, and the system can close the operation with less or more profit depending in the price change

    flo90 What do you mean by "made a request to close". Is that a stop-loss/take-profit? Doesn't seem clear to me. Can you elaborate on this please so we can try to help you with your question.
