I'm brand new in eToro and want to know more about trading.
I started by copying a trader with 200$.
But here is my problem, for some positions, the amount invested does not correspond to the percentage put by the trader.
Example : I can see on his portfolio that the trader puts 3,60% of his capital into a Alibaba share.
But in my portfolio (which should copy his portfolio), I only invested 3,17$ (representing only 1,6% of my capital)
This situation happened for a lot of positions.
On the 200$ invested, I only put 146$ on shares.
eToro said that trades <1$ won't be oppened but i'm not in this case, all positions of the copied trader are > to 0,5% of the capital.
At te beginning, I thought it was because of the markets were close and I had to wait until their openning but for all the positions I did invest (so market has oppened) something but not enough compared to the trader.
I hope I'm cleared, i'm not a native english speaker
